As a gifted culinary artist, television celebrity, and successful restaurateur, Chef Tarek has garnered widespread recognition, earning him the prestigious title of Master Chef, a first for any culinary professional from the Arab world. Throughout his illustrious career, he has secured numerous gold and silver medals in esteemed culinary competitions, earning the distinguished honor of being named the Primer Chef of America twice by the American Dairy Association.

With over three decades of culinary expertise spanning both the United States and the Middle East, where he spent a significant period working as Business Development Manager at the Australian Meat & Livestock (MLA), for the Middle East region, Chef Tarek’s wealth of knowledge is exemplified by his Certified Executive Chef designation by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and his Global Judge recognition from the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WorldChefs). Currently serving as the Co-founder and executive master chef of Umami Restaurant, Chef Tarek continues to showcase his culinary prowess and innovative flair, leaving an indelible mark on the global culinary scene.
