Chef Mahmoud Mohamed Genedy is a distinguished culinary professional with a rich background in the art of gastronomy. Graduating from the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University. Steeped in a family legacy of tourism, Genedy transitioned to a culinary career, commencing in 2000 at Le Meridien Cairo Hotel. His career includes notable roles at Grand Hyatt Cairo and DAL Food Group, culminating in his current position as the Pastry Chef at the esteemed Grand Nile Tower Hotel since 2014.
A distinguished member of the Egyptian Chefs Association since 2002, Geneidy’s culinary accolades include gold and bronze medals in the Plated Desserts Competition and top honors in the Black Box competitions. In 2017, he joined the board of directors at the Egyptian Chefs Association and further solidified his global standing by participating in the WorldChefs Judging Seminar, to become a certified international judge.
