A Culinary Journey: Egypt’s Young Talents Shine in the Italian Training Program

Latest News

The Egyptian Chefs Association, in collaboration with the Italian Government ITA and Konzept, proudly concluded a three-month Italian Culinary Training Program aimed at promoting authentic Italian cuisine in Egypt. This prestigious program, which ran from July to September, provided hands-on training to 45 selected students from prominent institutions such as Nahdet Misr Secondary School for Applied Technology, Abou Kir High Institute for Tourism and Al Harm Tourism School

The training sessions were led by Chef Omar Hamada, Board Member of the Egyptian Chefs Association, offering students an in-depth experience with a variety of Italian regional recipes. With a focus on using high-quality, authentic Italian ingredients, participants honed their culinary skills while gaining valuable insights into Italy’s rich culinary heritage.

The closing ceremony, held in October, celebrated the achievements of these young culinary talents and highlighted the importance of cultural exchange between Egypt and Italy. Supported by the Egyptian Chefs Association, this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to elevate the culinary standards in Egypt and inspire the next generation of chefs.

We are proud of the students’ dedication and look forward to witnessing their contributions to the culinary industry in the years to come.
