Chef Anil Grover is a distinguished culinary professional with an impressive academic background and a wealth of international experience. He began his academic journey by studying Economics at the University of Delhi before pursuing his passion for the culinary arts. He further specialized in Bakery and Confectionery from the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, one of India’s top hospitality institutions.
Anil’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch Groovy Foods, a company dedicated to international trade in industrial chocolates and cocoa powder. His commitment to the culinary world extends beyond business; he is a founding member of the Slow Food Chefs’ Alliance in India.
Chef Grover’s expertise is widely recognized in the global culinary community. He has been certified as a Judge by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WACS) and has served as a jury member at numerous prestigious international culinary events and festivals. His judging assignments have taken him to a wide range of countries, including Albania, Russia, China, Croatia, India, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, and Ukraine, among others. His international acclaim was further solidified when he headed the Indian Team Selection Committee for the Bocuse d’Or Asia Competition in 2017.
In recognition of his contributions to the culinary arts, Chef Grover was honored with the title of The Best International Culinary Judge from India by the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA) in 2017. His influence in the culinary field is also reflected in his honorary memberships with various overseas culinary associations.
